V1 Casino Privacy Notice

Last updated 7 October 2026.
We are V1 Casino, and this notice applies to members in Australia and to visitors to our casino site. We handle personal information in line with the privacy law that applies to us, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) where it applies. A person whose information we hold is called a member in this notice.

We ask for the information that the account needs and no more. A member can refuse to provide an item, but an account that lacks the details needed to pay out cannot be used for withdrawals.

Payment details

A card number is entered in the field of the payment method and is handled by the payment provider. We keep a record of the amount, the method and the time, and we use it to apply the terms of each bonus and to answer questions about a payment.

Cookies

We use cookies that keep a member signed in, remember choices and measure how the site is used. A member can block or delete cookies in the browser. Some functions, such as staying signed in, do not work without them.

Who receives information

  • Payment providers receive what they need to carry out the payment the member chose.
  • Service providers who help us run the site receive only what they need for that task.
  • Authorities receive information where the law requires us to disclose it.

We do not sell members’ personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep information while the account is open, and afterwards for as long as the law requires or as is needed to settle a dispute. When an account is closed at the member’s request, we stop using the information for any other purpose.

How we protect it

We restrict access to personal information to staff who need it for their work. Access to the account is protected by a password that the member chooses, and we ask members to keep it private and to sign out of shared devices.

Rights of a member

  • A member can ask for access to the information we hold.
  • A member can ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • A member who is not satisfied with our reply can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Choices

A member who does not want messages from us other than those needed to run the account tells our support team. Choices about cookies are made in the browser.

Documents we ask for

We ask for a document only when we need it to confirm who owns an account, most often before a first withdrawal. The copy is used for that check, and we do not use it to advertise to the member. We ask members not to send documents by any route other than the one our support team names.

Records of limits and breaks

When a member sets a deposit limit, a loss limit, a session reminder or a time-out, or closes the account, we record the choice so that it can be applied. We use the record to carry out the member’s choice and for no other purpose.

Our messages

We send the messages that the account needs: confirmation of the email address, requests for documents, replies from support and notice of a change to our terms or to this notice. A member who wants fewer messages tells us.

Accuracy

We rely on the details that members give us. A member who changes name, address or email asks our support team to update the record, and we may ask for a document that supports the change.

If personal information is lost or misused

When personal information that we hold is lost or misused, we act to contain it, and we notify the people affected and the authority where the law requires it.

Information about other people

A member should give us details about the member only. We do not accept an account opened with another person’s details, and a member who has given us someone else’s documents should tell us.

Under-age visitors

We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. An account opened by a minor is closed.

Changes

When we change this notice, we update the date at the top.

Writing to us about personal information

A request about personal information goes to [email protected] and names the account email. We confirm that the request comes from the account holder and reply in writing.
