Account management in V1 Casino on a phone

Updated
A V1 Casino account is the same account on every screen. We built the mobile site so that a member can manage it from a phone without going back to a computer, and the Install App option places a launcher on the phone screen. Everything described here applies in a phone browser and in the launcher alike.
Play on mobileSetting a deposit limit on a phone
- Sign in to the account.
- Open the menu and go to account settings.
- Choose the deposit limit control.
- Enter an amount in AUD and select the period it covers.
- Confirm the change.
A limit set on a phone applies to the account, not to the phone. A deposit attempted on a computer afterwards is held to the same ceiling.
Tasks and where they sit
| Task | Where it is done | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit | Cashier | AUD amounts |
| Withdrawal | Cashier | Method rules apply |
| Deposit or loss limit | Account settings | Applies on every device |
| Session reminder | Account settings | Shows elapsed time |
| Time-out | Account settings | Pauses the account |
| Closure | Account settings or support | No reason required |
Using the cashier from a phone
The cashier on a phone offers the same methods as the cashier on a computer. A member who deposits with a card enters the details in the field shown by the method. A member who deposits with Skrill, Neteller, Trustly or iDebit is taken through the provider’s own sign-in and returned to the lobby. Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin deposits are made by sending funds to the address the cashier displays, and the address should be copied exactly.
Withdrawals follow the timings of the method. Skrill and Neteller are completed the same day, Trustly in one to two business days and cards in one to three business days. Our cashier lists no casino fee.
Taking a break from a phone
- Open account settings.
- Choose time-out.
- Select the length of the break.
- Confirm.
During a time-out the account is paused. A member who wants a longer separation can ask our support team to close the account, and no reason is needed.
Session reminders
A session reminder tells a member how long a session has been running. It is useful on a phone, where play can continue unnoticed in short stretches across a day. The reminder is set in account settings and can be changed at any time.
Protecting the account on a handheld device
Some habits matter more on a phone than on a computer.
- Lock the phone with a passcode or biometric lock.
- Do not store the password in a note on the same device.
- Sign out of the account on a phone that is shared or lent.
- Use a connection you trust when the cashier is open, and avoid open public networks.
- Remove the launcher from a phone that is sold or replaced.
Support from the phone
Our support team can be reached at [email protected]. A message that states the device, the time of the problem and the amount involved can usually be answered in one reply.
Closing the account from a phone
- Open account settings.
- Choose the closure option, or write to our support team.
- Withdraw any remaining balance first, through a method in the member’s own name.
- Confirm the closure.
- Remove the launcher from the phone if it is no longer needed.
Closure does not require a reason. A member who is unsure can take a time-out first and decide later.
Changing details from a phone
Some changes cannot be made in account settings and go through our support team instead. A change of name, address or email address is requested by email from the address registered on the account, and we may ask for a document that supports it. The request can be written and sent from the phone, with a photograph of the document attached.
| Change | How it is made |
|---|---|
| Deposit or loss limit | Account settings |
| Session reminder | Account settings |
| Time-out | Account settings |
| Email address | Request to support |
| Name or address | Request to support with a document |
Keeping the launcher and the browser in step
The launcher and the phone browser open the same lobby, and a limit or a time-out applies in both. A member who uses both should sign out of the one that is not in use, so that the account is open in one place at a time. When the phone is changed, sign in on the new device, set the limits again if the device asks, and remove the launcher from the old one.
When the phone is lost or replaced
Sign out of the account from another device if that is possible, and write to [email protected] from the registered email. State the time the phone was lost, and we will explain the next steps. On a new phone, sign in again and check the limits.
What a phone does not change
The ten house rules apply on a phone exactly as on a computer. The age requirement is the same, the account currency is AUD, the wagering rules of each offer are the same, and the stake cap applies to every bet. The mobile screen is a way of reaching the account, and it carries no separate terms.
Checking the account after a change
- Return to account settings after any change to a limit.
- Confirm that the new value is shown in AUD and for the intended period.
- Make a small test of the cashier only if a limit has been lowered, to see the ceiling applied.
- Write to support if the screen shows a value that was not entered, and attach a screenshot of the settings page.
